Private ownership of the Trans-Texas Corridor highway system is bad for Texans. Iowa is recent proof that natural disaster can occur anywhere and anytime. The Trans-Texas Corridor is not wanted in Oklahoma. Senator Brogdon is the Co-Chairman of the Subcommittee on General Government and Transportation and he doesn’t support the Trans-Texas Corridor.

The Texas Department of Transportation has very controversial plans to build a super highway through Texas generally from the Dallas area to the Brownsville and Laredo area. It’s clearly aimed at giving the Mexican trucking industry a clear super highway directly into the U.S.
